Privacy Policy
This policy explains what DynastyDb collects, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Effective July 10, 2026
Scope
This policy applies to DynastyDb websites, league-management features, public rankings, account services, and related communications. It does not govern third-party sites or services that you choose to visit or connect.
Information we collect
Account and profile information
When you have an account, we may store your email address, username, display name, authentication and security records, franchise association, profile settings, and notification preferences.
League and user content
DynastyDb stores the information needed to operate your league, including rosters, contracts, bids, auctions, trades, draft activity, standings, scoring, league rules, forum or chat content, and files or images you choose to upload. Visibility depends on the feature and your league's permissions.
Uploaded images may be stored at publicly addressable cloud URLs. Do not upload sensitive material or anything that should not be accessible to the intended league audience.
Connected services
If you connect MyFantasyLeague (MFL), DynastyDb may store an encrypted MFL authentication cookie and exchange league, roster, draft, or lineup information with MFL at your request. We do not ask for or store your MFL password.
Technical and usage information
We may receive IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, referring pages, timestamps, session identifiers, feature interactions, and diagnostic data. When configured, DynastyDb uses PostHog for product analytics and Sentry for error and performance monitoring.
Affiliate and outbound links
When affiliate links are enabled, DynastyDb may record an aggregate outbound click, such as the partner, destination, page, and timestamp. The destination partner may set its own cookies or collect information under its own privacy policy after you leave DynastyDb.
How we use information
- Provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve DynastyDb.
- Authenticate users and enforce league roles and permissions.
- Run league workflows such as auctions, trades, drafts, scoring, and notifications.
- Sync information with services you intentionally connect.
- Send account, security, transactional, and opted-in league communications.
- Understand aggregate usage, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and protect the service.
- Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
Cookies and similar technologies
DynastyDb uses essential cookies and server-side sessions for sign-in, security, preferences, and application continuity. Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers when PostHog is configured. Affiliate partners may use their own attribution technologies after you follow a partner link.
Browser controls can block or remove cookies, but disabling essential cookies may prevent account and league features from working correctly.
How information is shared
We share information only as needed for the purposes described in this policy:
- Service providers: cloud hosting, database and file storage, content delivery, fonts, email delivery, analytics, and error monitoring.
- Connected services: MFL and other services you explicitly ask DynastyDb to connect with.
- League participants: information and content visible through the league features and permissions you use.
- Affiliate partners: standard link and request information when you choose to follow a clearly disclosed partner link.
- Legal and safety requests: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or enforce our agreements.
DynastyDb does not sell lists of personal information.
Retention and security
Retention periods vary by the type of information and the operational needs of a league. We may retain records while an account or league is active and afterward when needed for backups, league history, security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service, including encryption for supported integration credentials. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can update profile and notification settings within DynastyDb and disconnect supported integrations. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information.
Some records may need to be retained to preserve league integrity, complete requested transactions, protect the service, or comply with law. To make a privacy request, email admin@dynastydb.com.
Children
DynastyDb is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as DynastyDb changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the service when appropriate.
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to admin@dynastydb.com.
